Sad news for Nintendo and Luigi fans alike today, Nintendo has confirmed that Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon has been delayed to 2013. Nintendo published it’s release calendar today and with that the following quote, “Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon will now be available in the first half of 2013” No specific reason was given for the delay, when we last heard details on the game back at E3 it was on schedule for a holiday 2012 release.
“Oha no, I’ve been delayed MARIO!/MARIOOO?/Mario?/M-M-M-M-Mario?”
The sequel to the original Luigi’s Mansion was announced at E3 2011 for the Nintendo 3DS and we were given further details at this years E3, including gameplay and the name Dark Moon.
Nintendo has not released further word as to why the delay has taken place, but we shall update you as soon as we know more. Until then Luigi’s brother Mario will be gracing our 3DS handheld on August 17th (Europe), August 18th (Australia) and August 19th (North America).
