Battlefield 4 Remains in Modern Setting

Battlefield was announced in a very odd fashion, through a Medal of Honor: Warfighter pre-order bonus being leaked including Battlefield 4 beta access and since then we have not heard much details regarding the game, until now. DICE’s Karl Magnus Troedsson confirmed the setting of the game in a Gamescom talk in Europe.

It’s coming.

Joystiq has reported that the following quote was made, “We still want to stay in this genre, the modern day as it is. We feel this is a place we can be and continue with the series. Battlefield 4 can live in this space and be very successful.”

Some good news regarding a Bad Company sequel has also been heard, “That doesn’t mean there might not be a Bad Company game again in the future.” With many fans of the original 2 game series, fans of the Bad Company franchise can breathe a little easier knowing they have not been forgotten.

We are hoping to hear many more details regarding details of the title later this year, possibly once Medal of Honor: Warfighter has been released allowing EA to focus on preparation for Battlefield 4.

Medal of Honor: Warfighter begins release October 23rd on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC

  1. Hello there! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering if you knew where I could locate a captcha plugin
for my comment form? I’m using the same blog platform as
yours and I’m having trouble finding one? Thanks a lot!
