‘Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’ – Multiplayer Deep Dive

Activision and Sledgehammer Games have released a new Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare video, which extensively details the new additions and alterations players will find in the multiplayer portion of Advanced Warfare. Throughout the Multiplayer Deep Dive video more details are given regarding exo movement, customisation modes and maps, and how they will affect multiplayer.

The new exo suit allows players to utilise their new boosting abilities in order to dodge gunfire, jump higher, slide faster and more, adding a new fast-paced mobility to online play. The exo suit will also include exo related abilities such as cloaking and shields, while the wrist mounted launcher can fire grenades, Semtex and more to get the drop on your enemy. The new exo suit movement abilities has also influenced map design, with every new map developed specifically around the new movement options.

Advanced Warfare will include the most customisation options in Call of Duty history, while the Pick 13 loadout feature will allow for each player to fully customise their perfect loadout. Before taking your new loadout online, players are now able to test their new creation in the virtual firing range to see how their new loadout feels.

These loadouts can be used on more than 12 multiplayer modes that will be available on day one, including Uplink, a new sports-like mode where players must use teamwork to bring a satellite uplink drone back to their scoring area. Players must use their satellite to full advantage, as they look to score the winning points.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare launches on the 4th of November, on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. While those who pre-order the Day Zero Edition, or the Xbox One Call of Duty bundle will receive their copy November 3.
